A delicious apple cake with a heart of soft amaretti and cream, perfect for any occasion.
Cut the apples into thin slices and drizzle them with lemon juice.
Beat the egg with the sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the cinnamon, Greek yogurt, and a pinch of salt.
Then add the flour, sifted baking powder, and apples.
Transfer half of the batter into a 20 cm baking pan lined with parchment paper. Add 2 crumbled amaretti and pour in the remaining batter.
On top, add a few spoonfuls of your favorite cream (suggestions: zabaglione or custard) and more crumbled amaretti.
Bake in a static oven at 180°C for about 35-40 minutes.
Store in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
