PLEASE NOTE: The Imperial Soup is shipped only on Tuesdays (the same day of production) for orders received until the previous Sunday evening. Only for Italy. The Imperial Soup is a traditional rural dish from Emilia-Romagna, particularly popular in the areas of Modena and Bologna. This dish is prepared with semolina, eggs, grated Parmesan cheese, mortadella, a bit of butter, and nutmeg. The mixture obtained by mixing these ingredients is spread on a baking tray and baked in the oven. Ingredients: Eggs Butter Parmigiano Reggiano DOP Semolina Nutmeg NOTHING ELSE How to enjoy it: The Imperial Soup is traditionally enjoyed hot, served in capon broth or meat broth, which enhances the delicate yet rich flavor of the golden semolina cubes. The bites, soft inside and slightly crispy outside, soak up the hot broth, offering a pleasant contrast of textures. A generous sprinkle of 22-month-aged Parmigiano Reggiano DOP is recommended.
