French Bordeaux, from the Chateau Dauzac estate, one of the largest in the Margaux appellation, on the Left Bank of the Bordeaux region. The estate covers 49 hectares, with soil composed of gravel and clay. Chateau Dauzac combines richness and precision, and the grape varieties used for production are 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc. The vines are harvested and crushed before being poured into stainless steel fermentation vats. The aging process takes place for 16 to 18 months in oak barrels. The Bordeaux region is located on the Atlantic coast on the left and right banks of the Gironde. With its 119,000 hectares and 60 appellations, the Bordeaux region represents the largest French AOC vineyard. Divided into five sub-regions, the region benefits from a temperate oceanic climate. Its soils are rather clay-limestone, with sands and gravels found in the Graves region.
