Preparation

    Wash the mussels thoroughly under cold running water, remove the beard, and discard any that are open or broken.

  2. STEP 2 OF 5

    In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat, add chopped garlic and sliced onion, and sauté until golden brown.

    Add the mussels to the saucepan, pour in the white wine, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes until they open.

  4. STEP 4 OF 5

    Add rosemary and tomato paste (if using), stir, then add fresh cream and Gran Blu, and cook for another 5 minutes.

    Transfer the mussels to plates, pour the sauce over them, garnish with parsley and lemon zest, and serve immediately.
