
Baked Pears with Goat Blue Cheese, Walnuts, Honey, and Fresh Thyme
Juicy pears baked in the oven, stuffed with a heart of Goat Blue Cheese, enriched with crunchy walnuts, a drizzle of acacia honey, and fresh thyme. Preparation
- STEP 1 OF 4
Wash the pears, cut them in half, and remove the seeds. Optionally, sprinkle them with a few drops of lemon juice to prevent browning.
- STEP 2 OF 4
Place the pears in a lightly buttered baking dish. Place a generous piece of Goat Blue Cheese in the center of each half, along with some walnut halves, a sprig of fresh thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- STEP 3 OF 4
Drizzle a little honey over each pear. Add a small knob of butter on top of each half. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes, until the pears are soft and the cheese begins to melt.
- STEP 4 OF 4
Serve the pears warm, adding more honey, walnuts, and a few fresh thyme leaves for garnish, if desired.
