Preparation

  1. STEP 1 OF 4

Wash the pears, cut them in half, and remove the seeds. Optionally, sprinkle them with a few drops of lemon juice to prevent browning.

  2. STEP 2 OF 4

Place the pears in a lightly buttered baking dish. Place a generous piece of Goat Blue Cheese in the center of each half, along with some walnut halves, a sprig of fresh thyme, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. STEP 3 OF 4

Drizzle a little honey over each pear. Add a small knob of butter on top of each half. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes, until the pears are soft and the cheese begins to melt.

  4. STEP 4 OF 4

Serve the pears warm, adding more honey, walnuts, and a few fresh thyme leaves for garnish, if desired.
