This artisanal pastry dessert is characterized by a peculiarity: raisins soaked in Torcolato (what is Torcolato? Torcolato di Breganze Doc is a sweet wine obtained from the drying of local grapes, produced by only about twenty winemakers in the Venetian foothills between the Astico and Brenta rivers) which makes the colomba very special and sought after.
The preparation of the colomba involves a slow and careful process, thus its soft texture combined with the raisins makes the taste unique and inimitable, always surprising.
