Superior-category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical processes. This Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Contarina is a premium product. A truly exciting oil, deliberately presented with a beautiful label to enhance the intrinsic qualitative value of the product. Produced in the olive groves in Valle di Mezzane, in the municipalities of Mezzane di Sotto and Illasi, on the northern hills of the province of Verona. This valley is a particularly unique climatic treasure and ideal for oil production: a substrate of marl and sandstone, unspoiled nature, an enclosed valley that keeps temperatures always controlled throughout the year with excellent temperature swings especially during the fruit ripening period. The olives used are of the Leccio, pure Leccio and Leccio del Corno varieties. This oil has a light fruity aroma, tastes of green grass and tomato, elegant and balanced with a slight bitterness that quickly fades. Clear and bright, typical green with golden reflections, typical of the cultivars of the Verona hills.
