Preparation

  1. STEP 1 OF 6

    Soak the sheets of pane carasau in water for a couple of minutes until they become soft and flexible.

  2. STEP 2 OF 6

    Overlap two softened sheets of pane carasau and place the filling of your choice in the center.

  3. STEP 3 OF 6

    Close, giving it the typical roll shape.

  4. STEP 4 OF 6

    Place a little tomato puree on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  5. STEP 5 OF 6

    Place the rolls on the sauce, drizzle with a little olive oil, a generous sprinkle of Parmigiano, and, if desired, more tomato puree.

  6. STEP 6 OF 6

    Bake at 180°C for 10-15 minutes, until the rolls are golden and crispy on the surface.
