  • Whole wheat flour (or sifted type 2 flour)200 g
  • Corn oil (or sunflower oil)55 g
  • Water45 g
  • Sugar45 g
  • Baking powder4 g
  • Cinnamonto taste
  • Golden apples (or renette apples)4apples
  • Cornstarch1teaspoon
  • Whole sugar1teaspoon
  • Small lemons (juice)1tablespoon

  • STEP 1 OF 6

    Cut the apples into small cubes and cook them in a pan for 5/10 minutes, adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, whole sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon.

  • STEP 2 OF 6

    Meanwhile, prepare the pastry by adding all the liquid ingredients to the cold water and then the sifted flours.

  • STEP 3 OF 6

    After creating a dough (handle it as little as possible with your hands), put it in the fridge for 15 minutes.

  • STEP 4 OF 6

    Roll out the pastry and use a glass or cookie cutter to form the cookies. From the rolled-out pastry, also cut small strips that will be placed on top of the filling.

  • STEP 5 OF 6

    Place the cookie, then a spoonful of cooked apples, and then 4 strips.

  • STEP 6 OF 6

    Bake at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes (when they are slightly golden both on top and bottom, they are done).
