A simple and quick cake to prepare. Perfect for breakfast and snack time, delicious and light.
In a bowl, add the sugar and flour. Mix with a spoon.
Add the oil, orange juice, and water. Mix with a spoon.
Add the baking powder and mix well, being careful not to create lumps.
Pour the mixture into a previously greased and floured 18 cm mold.
Sprinkle some granulated sugar and chocolate chips (or sliced almonds, if you prefer) on the surface.
Bake in a static oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Always perform the toothpick test to check for doneness.
Remove from the oven, let cool, and serve.
