A simple and fragrant dessert, perfect for a light and vegan breakfast.
Dissolve the sugar in lukewarm water by stirring quickly.
Add the fresh juice of about 2 oranges and then the oil.
Sift the flour with the baking powder and add it to the liquid part.
Add the grated peel of an unprocessed orange and mix well so that the dough is smooth and homogeneous.
Pour the dough into a greased and floured cake pan and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool.
