
CHARACTERISTICS The Mandrarossa Chardonnay stands out for its typically Mediterranean notes of prickly pear and orange peel. Laguna Secca is the name inspired by some soils in the area, once covered by shallow lagoons and now fertile and productive. VINIFICATION After cryomaceration of the grapes at a temperature of 5-8°C for 4/6 hours, the must ferments for 15/20 days at 16-18°C. Maturation takes place for 4 months in steel tanks. TASTING NOTES The wine has a straw yellow color with green-gold reflections. On the nose it presents hints of orange peel, oleander and ripe prickly pears. On the palate it is powerful and enveloping, with marked minerality and persistence. DESIGNATION White Sicilia DOC ORIGIN AREA Menfi, southwestern coasts of Sicily.
