Quater Vitis Red Firriato. Quater Vitis Red brings the Sicily of wine into a glass and is a blend of Nero d'Avola, Perricone, and Frappato grapes grown at the Pianoro Cuddìa estate, while Nerello Cappuccio is grown at the Cavanera Estate at about 680 m above sea level on Mount Etna. It comes from four different harvests and four corresponding vinifications carried out separately to enhance the peculiarities of each individual variety. The aging of each individual wine takes place in American and French oak barriques, for a maximum period of 10 months. The different types of wood contribute boisé notes. The best cuvées obtained are blended to create this wine, which harmoniously enhances the red fruit aromas of Nero d'Avola, the freshness of Frappato, the spicy notes of Nerello Cappuccio, and the elegance of Perricone.
