Nebbiolo Colline Novaresi DOC from Azienda Agricola Mirù is a top-quality red wine, produced from extraordinary grapes grown in the vineyards located near Ghemme, a small town in the province of Novara, in Piedmont. A small curiosity: since 1994 the municipality of Ghemme has been part of the "Wine Cities", places carefully selected by the National Association of Wine Cities, an institution present throughout the national territory made up of more than five hundred Italian local authorities that brings together all those locations that stand out for their excellent wine production. The name of this wine comes from that of the grape variety from which it is produced, Nebbiolo in fact, whose name seems to derive from the word "fog" precisely because of the particular late ripening of this grape, which often shifts, as a result, the harvest to the period of autumn mists. This wine is characterized by a bright ruby red color. The aroma, fine and elegant, is characterized by particular aromatic notes of ripe cherry, violet and spices.
