Slowly expanding at the bottom of the teapot, this small tea sphere opens gradually, revealing at the top the lively gonfrena flower floating in the water like magic. The taste is delicate and refreshing, fragrant and sweet. Sight and smell. The tea leaves that make up the Happy Rising blooming tea, in various shades of green and silver-white because of the numerous buds covered with bai hao, close into a sphere around the gonfrena flower, with its many small bright pink petals. Once infused in water, the flower and leaves open up, releasing a delicate and fresh vegetal aroma, sweet honey notes, and slightly fruity notes with hints of wildflowers. The liquor in the cup has a beautiful color between gold and pink, clear and with bright reflections. Tasting notes. On the palate, Happy Rising flower tea is gentle and balanced: it has sweet notes of honey and beeswax, followed by hints of yellow flowers and notes of unripe pear. There is even a very slight note of leather, almost reminiscent of an extremely delicate puer sheng. On the finish, very light vegetal notes of spring vegetables such as fresh broad beans can be perceived, notes that remain softly in the aftertaste. The body is light and silky, with no bitterness and only a barely perceptible astringency. Place of origin: Fujian Province, China. Production of Happy Rising flower tea. The tea buds, expertly worked and joined together at the base to embrace the gonfrena flower in the center, are made following the white tea production process. Fresh gonfrena flowers, after harvest, are dehydrated (both naturally in the air and with special machines). The flower must be picked whole and at its best harvesting period to benefit from the highest level of aroma. How to prepare Happy Rising flower tea. To enjoy all the beauty of the infusion and therefore the opening of this flower tea, it is recommended to use a transparent glass cup (better still, a teapot). Rinse the cup with hot water. Use only one piece per cup. Steep the tea leaves in water heated to 80°C to 85°C for 1 minute for the first and second infusion. Gradually increase the time and temperature for subsequent infusions. Storage: it is recommended to store Happy Rising flower tea in a cool, dry, and dark place.
